Accurate Personnel is hiring immediately for a Dispatcher to join our client in Wood Dale, IL. The Dispatch will be working with drivers and agents to preplan delivery routes and direct shipments smoothly and efficiently. Dispatcher Pay, Schedule, and Location
Starting $19 to $20/hour, paid weekly

1st shift schedule available
Located in Wood Dale, IL
Dispatcher Duties and Responsibilities
Preplan delivery routes based on volumes and agent availability
Communicate and track orders, notify agents of daily assignments
Provides work direction to the agents as well as the warehouse
Determine the most cost-effective logistics for hot shots/specials
Prepare documents
Coordinate with the agent’s critical information needed to complete shipment.
Serve as a liaison between clients and operation staff to determine driver schedule and availability
Ensures Drivers have collected appropriate documentation and signatures related to delivery/pick-up of shipments.
Notify internal customers of any delays
Communicate internally for all OS&D issues
Dispatcher Requirements and Qualifications
Intensive use of phone and various software to coordinate trucks and available loads
Update load boards and ensure proof of deliveries are updated within 12 hours of delivery and board is clear.
Solve problems related to pick-up/delivery or breakdown issues
Handle strong customer call volume in a concise and professional manner.
Have at least 6 months of local Chicagoland pu&d experience
Understand over-dimensional freight movements
Knowledge of current DOT regulations
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
