Accurate Personnel is hiring immediately for a Cherry Picker to join our team in Elk Grove Village, Illinois. This individual will be responsible for operating a specialized electric forklift to pick, retrieve, and place items at high elevations in a warehouse, safely fulfilling customer orders, restocking inventory, loading and unloading trucks, and ensuring all safety regulations and warehouse procedures are followed. The ideal candidate will possess experience operating forklifts and cherry pickers, strong attention to detail for order accuracy and packing slip generation, excellent organizational and time management skills. Pay, Schedule, and Location
- Starting at $18.00 – $20.00/hour
- Excellent benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision
- 1st shift: 7am to 3:30pm
- Located in Elk Grove Village, Illinois
Duties and Responsibilities
- Order fulfillment: Safely and efficiently operate a cherry picker to retrieve products from high shelves based on customer orders and picklists
- Loading and unloading: Assist with loading and unloading materials from delivery trucks, common carriers, and other vehicles
- Inventory management: Place and remove items, perform cycle counts, and keep track of product relocations within the warehouse
- Shipping and receiving: Process outbound shipments, label items, build pallets, wrap orders, and verify incoming shipments for accuracy and damages
- Safety: Operate the equipment in compliance with all safety protocols, including those from OSHA, and be comfortable working at heights
- Operate other warehouse equipment like forklifts or electric pallet jacks
- Use RF scanners to identify products and manage inventory data
- Assist with general warehouse tasks like maintaining a clean and organized environment
- Move and relocate materials throughout the facility
Requirements and Qualifications
