HIRING IMMEDIATELY: TRUCK YARD SAFETY SUPERVISOR IN CHICAGO, IL
Accurate Personnel is hiring immediately for a Truck Yard Safety Supervisor to join our team in Chicago, Illinois. This individual will be responsible for supervising the day-to-day tasks of the facility yard operations. The ideal candidate will possess bilingual skills, communication/interpersonal skills, attention to detail , and a commitment to maintain a safe work environment. Pay, Schedule, and Location
- Starting at $22-$25/hour
- Excellent benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision
- Monday - Friday with some Saturdays 7am – 3:30pm
- Located in Chicago, Illinois
Duties and Responsibilities
- Coordinating the check in of all trucks arriving at the facility for receiving/shipping
- Log in each driver arriving at the facility and communicate information to the Warehouse Manager and Receiving Manager to coordinate dock assignment of each load
- Ensure that trucks are properly backed into the dock and secured with parking brake/chocks
- Coordinate the departure of the vehicle once finished loading and direct the driver to the Sign Out Office
- Overseeing the surveillance/security of the shipping/loading dock area
Requirements and Qualifications
- Bilingual skills are a plus
- Listening, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Must be able to commit to having a safe work environment
- Able to work in hot and cold environments
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Detail oriented
