Our client is a leading global provider of engineered solutions, power grid and microwave tubes and related consumables. This position performs a variety of engineering work in planning and design of products, tools, machines and other electrically functioning equipment. Will work closely with other engineering disciplines to increase production quality, efficiency, or volume to bring a product from prototype to production.
Originate and apply new and unique engineering methods and procedures
Schedule work to meet completion dates and technical specifications
Apply engineering principles and techniques to solve a variety of problems
Produce complete, accurate and readable electrical schematics per industry standards
Create test procedures and validation for components and PCB-level tests
Use schematics to work on developing drop-in replacements for quick board revisions
Revise and improve on electrical schematics to improve product reliability, cost, and manufacturability
Bachelor’s of Science in Electrical Engineering
2+ years of relevant experience
Able to understand Electrical Component Selection and Design Aspects
Able to understand schematics
Fluent in technologies and application domain
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Self-starter with a demonstrated ability to focus efforts, overcome obstacles and complete key objectives
