Don’t be afraid to think creatively and outside the box. That is the advice Maria Regan would give to anyone who is preparing to take on a big challenge in the staffing industry this year.
That’s exactly what her team recently did in the Sacramento market, as Accurate Personnel completed a 100 person go-live in record time, launching operations within the area an entire month ahead of schedule during a critical fourth quarter this October in Roseville, CA.
Regan, a Strategic Recruiting Specialist with the SEAL Team at Accurate, cited the buy-in from the whole team as the most critical factor to Accurate thriving within America’s Farm-to-Fork Capital, a title Sacramento, CA has claimed.
“We were all committed to delivering results,” said Regan. “Everyone, from leadership to support teams to branches, traveled to make this project a success. It took a lot of hard work, additional hours, and real-time problem-solving to execute not only quickly, but also accurately. We refused to settle for mediocrity.”
The closest physical Accurate Personnel office was four hours away, presenting a unique obstacle as the team established a temporary space with all new internal staff.
The launch of this location took place in only two weeks, beating the six week estimate initially placed on the project.
“The biggest challenge was managing the fast pace while ensuring nothing slipped through the cracks,” said Raquel Acevedo, Accurate’s Regional Director of Operators and lead on this go-live. “We were moving quickly, but the team stayed organized, communicated constantly, and supported one another to keep everything on track.”
Acevedo, the company's reigning Employee of the Year, was pleased to mention that 6 of the individuals placed as part of this 100 associate launch were designated for lead roles within the client company.
Accurate went the extra mile, flying in a lineup of their best and brightest in order to ensure that the Sacramento market would become a staple for the company.
Regan and Acevedo were joined by Illinois natives Marcy Alvarez, Alexandra Ulloa, Patty Fernandez, Marie Rodriguez, Lupe Reyes, Nailen Gutierrez, Lizette Zapata, Patricia Mendez, Marc Coiston, and Viviana Aguilar, along with Jamie Dobbs of Kentucky and Lamona Rivera from the Lakeland, FL office.
“We are all part of a great family culture, not just a company,” said Alvarez, an Area Manager at Accurate who has been with the team for over 25 years. “It’s all about helping people and supporting your sister branches.”
New additions Armando Espanta and Isaac Ruiz played an important role as well, joining locals Karla Quinonez and Stephany Guzman, while Hugo Castillo, Patty Lesure, Marcus Cater, Ray Niecestro and Diana Sanchez joined Acevedo in leadership roles.
“I was really impressed by the alignment and mutual support between SEAL, operations, and leadership,” Acevedo added. “Each team understood their role, anticipated each other’s needs, and kept the bigger picture in mind. That level of collaboration made an intense launch feel organized, smooth, and successful.”
Alvarez agreed, citing the overall communication and dedication from the team as key reasons for the success.
She went on to add that the moment she knew the project was going to succeed was when she saw, “all the support from our Accurate family.”
Altogether, the Accurate team was able to complete a comprehensive kickoff in this new market in a move that is sure to set the stage for even bigger and better things in the years to come.
“Entering a new market, especially in competition with another agency, required us to deliver exceptional results from the outset,” added Regan. “As a national business, our commitment to success was paramount.”
And while Accurate is always striving to find new locations that benefit the local community, the fit in Sacramento proved to be ideal.
“The Sacramento/Roseville market was genuinely in need of a new staffing solution,” said Regan. “The warm welcome and the strong rapport we built with associates in the area were exceptional, leading to numerous referrals and demonstrating the profound impact of great customer service.”
“The client was very happy and grateful with the outcome and recognized how well our team came together, their efficiency, and proactive approach,” said Acevedo, who was very proud of the work her team accomplished.
“Looking back, I’m most proud of how the team came together to deliver a seamless go-live ahead of schedule,” reflected Acevedo. “Everyone stepped up, collaborated across departments, and maintained high standards even under pressure.”
