Employees in this class are responsible for the recruiting, class scheduling, assigning, processing Election Day support workers payroll, and other data processing functions for election support workers. Work is performed under the direction of the Director of Elections Day Operations & Outreach. Performance is reviewed formally through performance reviews, periodic conferences, and written reports.

Starting at $40,000 to $65,000/yearly

Placement Specialist Duties and Responsibilities
Recruits Election Day support workers within Broward County community
Sends out poll worker renewal cards, emails, and letters
Enters poll worker applications into the database
Enters address changes for voters and order new registration cards
Assigns poll workers to precincts, schedules, and re-schedules training classes
Placement Specialist Requirements and Qualifications
Graduation from high school or GED required
Advanced Microsoft Office Suites proficiency required
Good communication and public relations skills required
Must be able to function professionally and comfortably under pressure in a call center environment while handling a high volume of calls
