HIRING IMMEDIATELY: REWIND OPERATOR IN HAZLETON, PA
Accurate Personnel is hiring a Rewind Operator to join our client in Hazleton, PA. This individual will be responsible for performing rewinder set up to ensure the quality and efficiency of material being processed and ensure the continual operation of the machine. The ideal candidate will understand and be able to perform all rewinder helper duties to include: packaging, labeling, opening rolls, cutting cores, and splicing. Rewind Operator Pay, Schedule, and Location
Starting at $20 to $26/hour, paid weekly
Excellent benefits package: Medical, Dental, and Vision
Sunday through Thursday, 11 pm to 7 am
Located in Hazleton, PA
Rewind Operator Duties and Responsibilities
Perform Rewinder set up to ensure the quality and efficiency of material being processed and ensure the continual operation of the machine
First line of quality control; detects and reports defective materials or questionable conditions. Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean, orderly condition and follow the prescribed safety regulations
Perform prescribed preventative maintenance such as air leak repair and brake pad changes on Rewinders as required
Follow the Standard Operating Procedure to report any problems with the beginning or ending product
Rewind OperatorRequirements and Qualifications
Make any necessary adjustments to correct the situation
Must be familiar with the basic machine functions to meet production deadlines
Must understand and be able to perform all Rewinder helper duties to include: packaging, labeling, opening rolls, cutting cores, and splicing
Must be able to competently utilize the company's ERP system (EPICOR), label program(s), Microsoft Excel, and any other necessary programs/systems required for the job
