Accurate Personnel is hiring immediately for an Injection Molding Machine Operator to join our client in Winter Haven, FL. This individual will be responsible for operating an Injection Molding Machine. The ideal candidate will Participates in all aspects of production processes, equipment and machinery to include but not limited to starting up equipment (various types of molding machines, grinders, dryers, loaders, water tower), material handling, making adjustments, using measurement equipment, ensuring product meets specifications, troubleshooting/problem solving, operating equipment and giving. Pay, Available Schedules, and Location
- Starting at $15/hour, paid weekly
- 2nd shift: 4pm - 12am, Monday - Friday
- Located in Winter Haven, FL
Duties and Responsibilities
- Follows established policies and procedures to perform the functions of the job
- Demonstrates outstanding housekeeping skills
- Start up and shut down machines to meet specifications
- Can operate all auxiliary equipment (dryer, loader, grinder, water tower)
- Read and interpret specifications to determine setup and prescribed temperature and time settings
- Adjusts machine settings to complete tasks accurately, according to specifications, and in a timely fashion
- Troubleshoot and evaluate machines, and perform minor repairs and maintenance
- Trim parts by cleanly removing the gate and any flash
- Neatly count, pack, label and organize finished parts for stock movement
- Record and document work activities, production levels, and product inspection results per specified company guidelines
- Handle raw material (drying, mixing, filling hoppers)
- Grind sprues and other parts for later use
- Complete understanding of purging process for both color changes and shutdown
Requirements and Qualifications
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds
- Subjected to a hot work environment during warmer months
- Forklift certified (done on-site by company)
