This individual will be responsible for supporting the implementation of new logistics initiatives with local branches such as suggestion box projects, standardizing processes, and other programs. Apply online and kick-start your career today!Pay, Schedule, and LocationStarting at $18 to $22/hour, paid weeklyExcellent benefits package: Medical, Dental, and VisionMonday through Friday from 8 am to 5 pmLocated in Elk Grove Village, ILDuties and ResponsibilitiesSupporting the implementation of new logistics initiatives with local branches such as suggestion box projects, standardizing processes, and other programsBecoming a superuser and training local teams on SmartHub ConnectSupporting the implementation of safety measures, SOPs, and best practices within each branch and assisting with training development on safety in the workplace.Helping develop templates for client-facing documents such as quarterly business reviews, SOPs, etc.Assisting with logistics client onboarding and offboarding across the US operations following a pre-developed client onboarding and offboarding guideSupporting the implementation of logistics controls and guidelines for the centralized logistics support team, and following these guidelines, for new vendor requests, new courier service accounts, credit approval requests, and other processes, with direction for the corporate logistics management teamMonitoring and maintaining the development of dashboards for the logistics operations teams to measure productivity and other metrics within the branchesGenerating, compiling, and uploading daily labor reports to Power BI Dashboard for logistics management team reviewCompleting logistics billing and accounting for logistics operations. This includes posting invoices for courier UPS, FedEx, and staffing agencies; saving customer backups; reviewing backup accuracy; matching data with what was posted in the systemProviding support to the logistics operations during the month-end close process, such as closing the files for the month, tracking all Revenue and GP per customer, sending customer invoices with backups, opening new files, updating new file trackers, making sure we have all the warehouse charges, reports storage count, VAS charges for month end, and other processesConducting various data reviews and analyses for labor planning, pricing, and project work as neededPerforming additional duties as assignedRequirements and Qualifications2+ years of experience in a 3PL logistics role/environmentExperience with billingExperience in positions with high levels of administration, organization, and document managementDetail-oriented and organizedStrong working knowledge of MS Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.Excellent written and oral communication skillsAbility to find innovative ways to solve problemsBachelor’s Degree in business, supply chain, logistics, or similarAbility to operate independently, flexible and detail-orientated—--(Salary range based on experience)—--ABOUT ACCURATE PERSONNELDo you need your next job fast?
