Pay, Schedule, Location
- $62,000 - $75,000/yearly
- 7:00 am - 4:30 pm Monday- Friday
- Location in Easton, PA
Duties and Responsibilities
- Sourcing, negotiating with, and selecting vendors for materials based on quality, price, and delivery requirements
- Analyzing sales forecasts to predict demand and managing inventory levels to meet demand while avoiding stockouts or overstock situations
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers, monitoring their performance, and resolving issues related to quality and delivery
- Creating and managing purchase orders, monitoring delivery timelines, and following up on late orders
- Working with internal departments such as sales, finance, operations, and production to ensure alignment and resolve supply chain disruptions
- Using data analytics tools to monitor trends, supplier performance, and inventory metrics, and preparing reports on purchasing
Requirements and Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree in supply chain, business, or a related field is often required
- Experience in procurement, planning, or supply chain roles is typically necessary
- Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems, inventory planning tools, and data analysis platforms like Power BI is essential
- Strong negotiation, communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills are critical
