HIRING IMMEDIATELY: MANUFACTURING ESTIMATOR IN ELK GROVE VILLAGE, IL
Accurate Personnel is hiring immediately for a Manufacturing Estimator to join our client’s team in Elk Grove Village, IL. This individual will be responsible for providing part- and process-specific quotations using historical data, engineering drawings, part characteristics, quantities, and customer/contract requirements. The ideal candidate has experience in estimating, process planning, or engineering, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
Pay, Schedule, and Location:
- Starting pay: $27 to $30/hour, paid weekly
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (hours may vary)
- Location: Elk Grove Village, IL
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide part- and process-specific quotations using historical data, engineering drawings, and industry standards
- Compute job costs by analyzing labor, material, and equipment requirements
- Ensure quotations meet engineering, process control, and quality standards
- Perform approval and process validation to ensure proper capabilities and approvals
- Sequence and plan processes, estimating appropriate turnaround and delivery times
- Coordinate post-production cost analysis to improve historical data effectiveness
- Provide cross-functional support to inside sales and estimating teams as needed
Requirements and Qualifications:
- 3+ years’ experience in estimating, process planning, or engineering in a manufacturing or industrial setting
- High school diploma required; college degree preferred
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Strong understanding of processing capabilities, quality systems, and industry standards
- PC proficient, including Microsoft Office applications
- Detail-oriented, organized, self-starting, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines under pressure
