Accurate Personnel is hiring immediately for a Brake Press Operator to join our client in Saint Charles, IL. This individual will be responsible for producing parts and tools from metal using a press brake, a computer numeric controlled (CNC) piece of equipment that makes precision bends. The use of hand tools such as dial calipers, bar micrometer, squares, and protractors. The ideal candidate will possess previous experience in a manufacturing role. Pay, Schedule, and Location
Starting at $21 to $25/hour, paid weekly
Excellent benefits package: Medical, Dental, and Vision
1st shift schedule: 7 am to 3:30 pm
Located in Saint Charles, IL
Duties and Responsibilities
Report problems with quality, processes, equipment and/or materials to supervisors
Setup and operate machines, independently with limited supervision
Ensure the work area is clean and free from hazards
Collaborate with other departments as needed
Assist in departmental measurable goals relating production concerns, quality, and efficiency
Assist in monthly inventory count to ensure proper inventory control
Requirements and Qualifications
Must be able to work at a consistent pace, follow instructions, and be self-motivated
Requires excellent math skills, including fractions and geometry
Requires ability to read measuring equipment, calipers, and other tools
Requires ability to read blueprints and calculate bend allowances
Work independently with minimal supervision
Must work well with others and be able to lift up to 50 pounds routinely
Provide immediate feedback when problems arise
