HIRING IMMEDIATELY: COMPOUND MACHINE OPERATOR IN ALSIP, IL
Accurate Personnel is hiring immediately for a Compound Machine Operator to join our team in Alsip, IL. This individual will be responsible for performing equipment change over and machine adjustments by using standard hand tools, as well as various other related tasks. The ideal candidate will possess 1-2 years’ experience in a production position with basic mechanical aptitude to make machine adjustments and changeovers. Pay, Schedule, and Location
- Starting at $18/hour, paid weekly
- Excellent benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision
- Monday through Friday, 6 am to 2:30 pm
- Located in Alsip, IL
Duties and Responsibilities
- Performs equipment change over and machine adjustments by using standard hand tools.
- Maintains basic housekeeping/5S duties
- Performs & maintains record keeping/documentation using GMP knowledge
- Actively participates with TQM/ KI Activities
- Carries out basic quality checks
- Interprets production schedules and plans/orders material accordingly
- Assists filling machine operators with capping, catching tubes, container labeling, plugging cartridges,
- Performs equipment cleaning and packaging product as required.
Requirements and Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Experience and/or Training: 1-2 years’ experience in a production position
- Basic mechanical aptitude to make machine adjustments and changeovers
- Experience detecting errors for overall quality control purposes
- Basic understanding of manufacturing process
- Basic math skills and reading skills
