- Starting at $17/hour, paid weekly

- 1st shift: 5 am - 1:30 pm
- Located in Minooka, IL
Duties and Responsibilities
- Initial setup of process line and organize cheese product to each correct line
- Conduct morning roll call
- Rotate employees every 2 hours for production safety
- Organize all employees to the positions in production, to start daily job activities
- Make sure the rotation of the bulk cheese is in the correct order using the system program to relocate product from storage area to pick line
- Main focus is on production of finished goods
- Ensure cheese process lines are constantly supplied with materials
- Ensure that the scales are calibrated every day and isolate any scale that have issues are not touching anything
- Enters the correct SKU number to each individual scale before and after each cheese product is ready for weight
- Constantly check for accurate cut cheese weight verification with line QA
- Clean and sanitize when done processing any specific SKU and prepare for the next one
- Daily inspections to ensure the proper cleaning and sanitizing of tables, scales, utensils, floors, trench drains and employee work stations
- Prepare the ATP for next day according to the inventory
- Checks label when entering SKU number for correct verification on description matches the description on the ATP
- Following production schedule and estimate worker’s hour requirement for completion of the job on time
- Supervision on the floor 100%
- Helping inside of the cheese production areas and with cheese HACCP programs
- Follow all food safety requirements' and Good Manufacturing Practices as applicable to this position
- Perform other related duties in the department as assigned from time to time by the supervisor
Requirements and Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent and relevant certifications
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to work varied schedule including weekend and early morning shifts
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Ability to pay close attention to detail, meet deadlines, and work with difficult individuals or task assignments
- Relate to other people beyond giving and receiving instructions: must get along with co-workers without exhibiting behavioral extremes; perform work activities requiring reasoning, negotiating, instructing, persuading, or speaking with others; and respond appropriately to criticism from a supervisor
- Able to work in spaces with 72 inches of headroom
- May be required to tolerate working environment with inside controlled temperatures of 36 degrees Fahrenheit and inside ambient temperatures (including heat and cold)
- Requires tolerance of standing posture up to 2 hours, over an 8-hour shift
- Occasionally work overtime, evenings, or weekends in order to complete work
- Follow GMP, Safety and all HACCP plans
- Ability to work well with others
