Accurate Personnel, a leading staffing company, is on the lookout for an enthusiastic and skilled individual to join our client's dynamic team as a Forklift Operator/Shipping and Receiving Clerk in Greenfield, IN.
Job Overview:
As a key member of our client's operations, you will perform a mix of manual and clerical shipping and receiving tasks. Operating sit-down and stand-up forklifts, as well as other industrial vehicles like cherry-pickers and automated pallet jacks, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring smooth warehouse operations.
Responsibilities:
Drive and operate forklifts and industrial vehicles for various tasks.
Receive delivered products and label them accurately for easy retrieval.
Put away materials and components in storage.
Assist in assembling and preparing products for shipment.
Verify inventory counts and conduct physical inventory checks as required.
Adhere to the company’s safety and quality guidelines.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements and Qualifications:
Ability to read and understand packaging, shipping documents, and safety guidelines.
Previous experience as a forklift operator/shipping and receiving clerk.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
Basic math skills.
Capability to lift 50 pounds.
Strong attention to detail.
High school diploma or GED, preferred.
Schedule:
Monday through Friday, 6:30 am to 3 pm
Compensation:
Up to $20/hour

Greenfield, IN
