Accurate Personnel is hiring immediately for a Freezer Warehouse Associate to join our client in Pompano Beach, FL. This individual will be responsible for accurately and efficiently picking, packing, and staging frozen products according to work orders, maintaining high standards of accuracy and quality. Pay, Schedule, Location
- Starting at $17/hour, paid weekly
- 10am - 6pm, Monday - Friday
- Located in Pompano Beach, FL
Duties and Responsibilities
- Accurately and efficiently pick, pack, and stage frozen products according to work orders, maintaining high standards of accuracy and quality
- Assist with receiving, unloading, and stocking inventory
- Perform cycle counting and report any discrepancies or damaged goods immediately
- Safely operate material handling equipment, such as pallet jacks, forklifts, and other equipment required for moving and stacking products in a cold environment
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies, especially those related to operating in a freezer environment (e.g., proper attire, equipment checks, safe lifting practices)
- Consistently perform physical tasks, including lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling merchandise weighing 50 pounds or more
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the freezer warehouse area
Requirements and Qualifications
- Verifiable experience working in a freezer, cold storage, or refrigerated warehouse environment is mandatory
- Proven ability to safely and consistently lift 50+ pounds and endure physically demanding work throughout the shift
- Must be able to work comfortably and productively for extended periods in temperatures below 0°F (-18°C), with appropriate cold-weather gear provided
- Certification or proven experience operating forklifts, electric pallet jacks, or other relevant warehouse machinery is a significant plus
- High level of accuracy in counting, labeling, and fulfilling orders
- Excellent attendance record and punctuality are essential
- Basic reading, writing, and mathematical skills to process orders and reports
- Predominantly working within a deep-freeze warehouse where temperatures are consistently below freezing. Proper personal protective equipment (PPE) will be provided
