Accurate Personnel is hiring immediately for an Industrial Technician to join our client in Indianapolis, IN. This individual will be responsible for supporting the safe and efficient operation of our facility by performing hands-on industrial maintenance and troubleshooting across equipment, systems, and grounds. Pay, Schedule, and Location
- Starting at $34/hour, paid weekly
- 8am - 4:30pm, Monday - Thursday and 7am - 3:30pm on Fridays
- Excellent benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401(k)
- Located in Indianapolis, IN
Duties and Responsibilities
- Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on production machinery and equipment
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve mechanical, electrical, and system issues
- Work with various systems including electrical, motor controls, plumbing, pneumatics, conveyors, and hydraulics
- Complete carpentry tasks as needed
- Maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance activities, and parts usage
- Conduct general maintenance and repairs of facilities, grounds, and supporting equipment
- Participate in on-call duties as required to support 24/7 operations
Requirements and Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED
- Minimum of one (1) year of relevant maintenance experience
- Working knowledge of electrical systems, motor controls, plumbing, pneumatics, conveyors, and hydraulics
- Valid state driver’s license, clean driving record, and current auto insurance
- Reliable transportation to and from the worksite
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively across all levels of the organization
- Commitment to preventive maintenance practices and workplace safety
