HIRING IMMEDIATELY: LOGISTICS ACCOUNTING PROJECT SUPERVISOR
Job Purpose:
Serve as a key member of the project management team, supporting the Senior Accounting Manager by proactively executing and completing projects and tasks. This role requires independent judgment and decision-making skills to drive successful project outcomes.
Pay, Schedule, Location
  • $68,640 annually, bonus pay available
  • Excellent benefits: Medical, Dental Vision
  • All shifts are available
  • Located in Stockton, CA
Duties and Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with local teams and Distribution Centers (DCs) to understand the scope, needs, and progress of live and upcoming accounting projects
  • Coordinate with vendors to ensure equipment requirements are met in line with project plans
  • Manage special requests and projects for Accounting and Administrative departments, diagnosing needs and determining next steps
  • Assist in auditing DCs to ensure compliance with standards and processes
  • Update project budgets and track equipment delivery, maintaining communication with responsible parties.
  • Accurately execute tasks using relevant software, updating procedures as necessary
  • Travel to project sites as needed to meet project requirements
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • 1-2 years of experience preferred
  • Knowledge of warehousing and logistics processes
  • Experience with SAP accounting system preferred
  • Familiarity with Truck Mate preferred
  • Strong proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical problem-solving abilities
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively at all levels of management
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to lift up to 10 lbs
  • Prolonged periods of sitting and working at a computer
  • Occasional climbing of stairs
  • Distribution Center environment with varying temperatures
  • Occasional travel to multiple Distribution Centers as required
