Maintenance Mechanic

Job Description

Role Summary:
The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for performing both preventive maintenance and troubleshooting activities to ensure smooth operations of production equipment. This role requires strong mechanical skills and solid electrical experience. While PLC programming is not required, prior PLC experience is preferred and may lead to opportunities as a Controls Technician.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on production machinery and equipment
  • Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical and electrical issues in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records and follow safety protocols
  • Support production teams by minimizing downtime through efficient problem-solving
  • Assist with continuous improvement initiatives related to equipment reliability and efficiency
Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in maintenance within a manufacturing or industrial environment
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with hands-on repair skills
  • Solid electrical knowledge, including troubleshooting and repair
  • PLC experience preferred; candidates with PLC exposure may be considered for Controls Technician opportunities
  • Ability to work assigned shifts, with flexibility for weekends and overtime
