Accurate Personnel is hiring immediately for a Material Handler to join our client in Plainfield, IL. This individual will be responsible for maintaining the use of Food-Grade Material Handling Stainless steel or FDA-compliant equipment. Pay, Schedule, and Location
- Ranging from $28/hour, paid weekly
- 12pm to 8pm Monday - Thursday, 7am to 3pm on Fridays
- Located in Plainfield, IL
Duties and Responsibilities
- Unloading ingredient delivery from truck delivery and storing in racks and floor stock
- Organizing ingredients and staging them in the process area
- Staging and loading of finished goods
- In addition to normal operation, batching and pack out
Requirements and Qualifications
- Knowledge of cross-contamination prevention
- Experience in Food Facility Operations
- Understanding of HACCP, GMPs, SQF/BRC, or other food safety standards
- Capable of working in cold storage, dry goods, and wet processing environments
- Material Handling Expertise
- Conveyors, lifts, pallet jacks, AGVs, forklifts (food-safe variants)
- Experience with batch tracking, lot control, and FIFO systems
- Inventory and warehouse management integration
- Safety and Compliance Knowledge
- OSHA compliance
- Sanitary design principles (e.g., EHEDG or 3-A standards)
