HIRING IMMEDIATELY: PAYROLL SPECIALIST IN BLOOMFIELD, CT
Accurate Personnel is hiring immediately for a Payroll Specialist to join our client in Bloomfield, CT. The Payroll Specialist will be responsible for payroll processing and assisting in calculating wages. The ideal candidate will have some previous accounting experience; however, this is an entry-level position and all experience levels are encouraged to apply!
Payroll Specialist Pay, Schedule, and Location
Starting at $18 to $19/hour, paid weekly
Excellent benefits package: Medical, Dental, and Vision
1st shift schedule, full time
Hiring immediately in Bloomfield, CT
Payroll Specialist Duties and Responsibilities
Payroll processing such as collecting employees' timesheets and payroll data
Review staff agency daily attendance (T&A’s) for accuracy
Reviews, researches and approves agency Payroll Action Request (PAR), as needed
Audit and approve weekly agency invoices
Assist in calculating wages and issuing statements
Detailing earnings and preparing paychecks
Additional bookkeeping tasks as assigned
Payroll Specialist Requirements and Qualifications
Entry-level clerical position
The minimum educational requirement is a high school diploma or GED
Preferably a background in bookkeeping and accounts
Must have Excel experience
