HIRING IMMEDIATELY: QA INSPECTOR IN CRYSTAL LAKE, IL

Accurate Personnel is hiring immediately for a QA Inspector to join our client in Crystal Lake, IL. This individual will be responsible for performing routine inspections and tests on materials, goods in–-process, and finished goods. The ideal candidate will possess knowledge of quality assurance, familiarity with manufacturing environments, knowledge of equipment and processes, ability to read and understand product specifications. Pay, Schedule, and Location

  • Starting at $16 to $20/hour, paid weekly

  • Excellent benefits package: Medical, Dental, and Vision

  • 1st shift and 2nd shift available

  • Located in Crystal Lake, IL

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Verify POIB is present on the Inspection Table at the molding machine, prior to Start-up and during production.

  • Verify that line clearance is completed before starting a new job.

  • The use and mastering of calipers, micrometers, height gages, and other equipment used for dimensional evaluation like equipment or gages custom-made and supplied by the customer for certain specific jobs.

  • Issues and makes ready all inspection tools, Gages, or other inspection equipment required per the Control Plan located in the POIB to Inspection Table at molding machines on all set-ups.

  • Inspects and verifies conformance of products to the Control Plan located in the POIB on all start-ups.

  • Confers with Lead Operator and Machine Operators to ensure that Inspection Procedures are understood and implemented according to the Control Plan.

  • Makes scheduled inspections for the characteristics shown on the In-Process portion of the Control Plan, and records the results on the In-Process Inspection Report.

  • Investigate any quality problems with machines,

  • inform the Shift Foreman of the problem, and record the problem

  • In-process inspection Record and issue Warning Tickets per Quality Procedure.

  • Ensures Shift Foreman has signed Warning Ticket.

  • Stamps each carton of finished product with a QA APPROVED stamp after checking parts, cartons, labels, and total Packaging Specifications per Control Plan in the POIB.

  • Recommends changes in procedures to increase efficiency and improve quality

  • Performs other routine duties as assigned.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • H.S. Diploma or GED

  • Minimum of one year of previous QA experience in a production environment

  • Knowledge of quality assurance, familiarity with manufacturing environments, knowledge of equipment and processes, and ability to read and understand product specifications.

  • Ability to read and use a Ruler/Tape Measure

  • Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds w/out help

  • Bending, crouching, walking, standing, pushing, sitting.

  • Ability to fluently speak and understand verbal insurance in English

  • Ability to sufficiently read and write in English to follow work order instructions and prepare simple production reports.
