Quality Assurance Manager - (WD)

Accurate Personnel is hiring immediately for a Quality Assurance Manager to join our client in Elk Grove Village, IL. This individual will be responsible for implementing a continuous improvement culture and preparing three warehouse locations for the SQF audit. Pay, Schedule, and Location

  • Starting at $25 to $29/hour, paid weekly

  • Excellent benefits package: Medical, Dental, and Vision

  • Monday through Friday, 8 am to 4:30 pm

  • Located in Elk Grove Village, IL

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Implements continuous improvement culture and prepares three warehouse locations for the SQF audit.

  • Updates and maintains GMP standards to pass the annual certification.

  • Conduct and assist external quality auditors in all food safety audits to ensure quality and safety policies comply with GMPs

  • Review existing processes and product specifications to identify the need for improvement.

  • Develop HACCP and critical control points.

  • Plan, executed, and oversaw product inspection for conformance to specifications and deliverables.

  • Oversee tracking, documenting, and reporting quality levels.

  • Introduce compliance document tracking software.

  • Work with domestic and international suppliers.

  • Hire and train the QA Team.

  • Investigate reports of quality issues and ensure resolution by guidelines and customer requirements.

  • Develop or update procedures for investigation and documentation of product complaints.

  • Provide continuous and effective training and support to the quality assurance team.

  • Prepare and present reports to update upper management on quality activities.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • 4+ years of experience in a similar role

  • Bachelor’s Degree, SQF Practitioner

  • Excellent organization, analytical, and communication skills.

  • Knowledge of quality assurance terminology, methods, and tools.

  • Ability to interact with all levels of employees.

  • Superb computer skills.

  • Bi-lingual in Spanish

  • Physical Demands:

  • Periods of standing and walking.

  • Long periods of using computers.

  • Frequent periods of being on the production floor.
