HIRING IMMEDIATELY: SET UP TECHNICIAN IN ROMEOVILLE, IL
Accurate Personnel is hiring immediately for a Set Up Technician to join our client in Romeoville, IL. This individual will be responsible for managing all changeovers and set-ups adhering and maintaining allotted times. Pay, Schedule, Location
  • Starting at $23/hour, paid weekly
  • 5 am - 3 pm, Monday - Friday
  • Location in Romeoville, IL
Duties and Responsibilities
  • Conducts themself in a safe and courteous manner in accordance with company policies and procedures
  • Efficiently communicates changeover and set-up issues in a timely manner
  • Performs preventive maintenance routines on lines per HIPPO Tasks, tooling, and equipment related to the set-up process
  • Review Batch order, Bag Spec to retrieve information for Set-Up
  • Manages all changeovers and set-ups adhering and maintaining allotted times
  • Collects and manages all SOC’s
  • Adheres to KPIs set forth for changeovers
  • Remove tooling and inspect for damage
  • Maintain tooling and machines, if requires repair, generate HIPPO WO
  • Remove and install tooling and perform machine set-up
  • Verify set up and set up samples for accuracy per customer specification
  • Support Production Operators; achieve and maintain efficiency and quality of product and scrap yield
  • Other responsibilities and projects as assigned
Requirements and Qualifications
  • High School Diploma
  • 5+ years in a manufacturing environment, knowledge of food processing or packaging
  • Ability to work safety and effectively with minimal supervision
  • Knowledge of electrical wiring, controls, plc, knowledge of mechanical systems including bearings, shafts, rollers, pneumatics
  • Experience with Allen Bradley Logix/Studio 5000 & Oracle WMS
