HIRING IMMEDIATELY: SIT DOWN FORKLIFT OPERATOR IN WINTER HAVEN, FL
Accurate Personnel is hiring immediately for a Sit Down Forklift Operator to join our team in Winter Haven, Florida. This individual will be responsible for expertly operating a sit-down electric forklift to move, stack, and stage pallets within the freezer and loading docks, along with more duties listed below. The ideal candidate will possess 1–2 years of Sit-Down Forklift experience, ability to pass our in-house certification, strong hand-eye coordination, and more listed below. Pay, Schedule, and Location
  • Starting at $16.50/hour 
  • Excellent benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision
  • SUN 1am-7am same night SUN-TUE 7:00PM-7:00AM
  • Located in Winter Haven, Florida
Duties and Responsibilities
  • Expertly operate a sit-down electric forklift to move, stack, and stage pallets within the freezer and loading docks
  • Efficiently load and unload refrigerated trailers while maintaining strict "Time-Out-of-Refrigeration" (TOR) limits
  • Use RF scanners to track product movement and ensure 100% order accuracy
  • Perform daily pre-shift inspections, focusing on battery health and hydraulic function in cold temps
  • Ensure freezer doors are kept closed when not in use to prevent ice buildup and temperature fluctuations
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Experience: 1–2 years of Sit-Down Forklift experience (required)
  • Ability to pass our in-house certification
  • Aptitude: Strong hand-eye coordination (visibility can be lower in freezers due to condensation)
  • Reliability: A track record of excellent attendance
  • Must be comfortable working in a sub-zero environment for the duration of the shift
  • Ability to work while wearing full freezer gear (insulated suit, heavy gloves, and thermal boots)
  • Ability to manually restack or move cases weighing up to 50 lbs if a pallet becomes unstable
