This individual will be responsible for a variety of logistics related activities to assist in the shipping and receiving of freight. Pay, Schedule, and Location
- Starting at $19.50/hour
- Excellent benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision
- 2nd shift: 2:30 pm to 7:30 pm
- Located in Wood Dale, IL
Duties and Responsibilities
- Receive customer requests, schedule and track for inbound and outbound shipments
- Create Bills of Lading / UPS and Fedex Labels
- Rate quoting on vendor websites
- Effectively communicate via email and phone with customers to take pickup requests and resolve issues
- Maintain Shipment Logs
- Inbound carrier review
- Courier / Air Freight Tracking with Vendor follow up
- Assist on reporting functions
- Other Duties as assigned
Requirements and Qualifications
- Previous related work experience can be beneficial
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Highly organized, eye for detail self-motivator
- Computer skills to include Word, Excel, Outlook & Sharepoint.
- High School Diploma or G.E.D.
