Accurate Personnel is hiring immediately for a Maintenance Mechanic to join our team in Allentown, PA. This individual will be responsible for playing a vital role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our equipment and facilities. Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, this individual will handle troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and repairs. Pay, Schedule, and Location
- Starting at $23/hour, paid weekly
- Excellent benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision
- 2nd shift schedule: 3:30 pm to 12 am
- Located in Allentown, PA
Duties and Responsibilities
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on equipment, machinery, and systems
- Develop preventive maintenance plans as needed
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and service calls
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections
- Assist in the installation of new equipment and systems
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and protocols
- Collaborate with other team members to complete larger projects and repairs
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Participate in training and development programs as needed
- Identify process improvement opportunities and work with teams to execute
- Achieve metrics on job scorecard for personal and department goals
- Follow manager's directions and demonstrate dependability with good attendance
- Adhere to all company safety rules, procedures, and policies
Requirements and Qualifications
- 5+ years in a manufacturing environment actively setting up and repairing equipment,
- building mechanicals, pumps, etc.
- 2-year technical degree or equivalent training and experience
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Proven experience as a maintenance technician or similar role
- Solid knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and general maintenance practices
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and blueprints
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Demonstrates ability to prioritize tasks to meet business needs
- Self-motivated with good time management skills
- Detail-oriented with a drive for accuracy
