Accurate Personnel is hiring immediately for an Accounts Payable / Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our client in Bloomfield, CT. This individual will be responsible for processing and posting vendor invoices, administrative invoices, and credit memos daily. Pay, Schedule, and Location
Starting at $23 to $24/hour, paid weekly
Excellent benefits package: Medical, Dental, and Vision, plus 401(k)
Monday through Friday, 8 hour shift schedule
Located in Bloomfield, CT
Duties and Responsibilities
Processes and posts vendor invoices, administrative invoices, and credit memos daily
Reconciles vendor statements
Researches and resolves problem invoices to ensure they are posted in the same month they are received
Answers account payable phone and e-mail inquiries and resolves/follow up
Works with Business Manager to maintain a line of credit and ensure timely vendor payments
May record administrative and office expenses
Backs up Accounts Receivable/Collections in the event of an absence.
Filing as required
Assists with related special projects, as required
Requirements and Qualifications
General understanding of accounting practices and principles
Be self-directed and motivated
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
Be flexible and able to interact with employees at all levels
Must have accurate data entry skills
Have good verbal and written communication skills
Have computer knowledge in order to operate basic MS Office based programs
