Accurate Personnel is hiring immediately for a Civil Engineer to join our client in Bowling Green, KY. This individual will be responsible for collaborating with clients, lead design efforts, and occasionally go onsite to oversee projects. The ideal candidate will obtain a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, a Professional Engineering license in Kentucky (or reciprocity), and proficiency in AutoCAD, Carlson Civil Suite, and Microsoft Office tools. Pay, Schedule, and Location
- Ranging at $50,000 - $80,000/annually (depending on experience)
- 7:30am - 4:30pm, Monday - Friday (that is a typical schedule but if on a project and might have to stay longer to get it done)
- Located in Bowling Green, KY
Duties and Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the design team to prepare construction documents and reports
- Import and prepare base drawings using field survey data
- Create comprehensive construction plan sets
- Develop site layouts and related designs
- Produce CADD drawings and visual aids
- Perform engineering calculations for hydraulic and hydrologic systems, including drainage, water, and sewer
- Design and prepare erosion control plans, hydrology and drainage reports, post-construction stormwater management plans, and construction plans
- Work effectively within a team environment
- Demonstrate a willingness to learn and grow professionally
- Contribute ideas and innovations to the design team
- Ensure timely completion of projects within budget
- Lead a design team and provide mentorship
- Attend and lead meetings with clients, utility companies, and review agencies
- Communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders
- Take on challenging tasks and projects with a proactive approach
- Maintain accurate logs and databases
- Exhibit strong organizational skills
Requirements and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or equivalent
- Professional Engineering license in Kentucky (Reciprocity)
- Proficiency in AutoCAD
- Experience with Carlson Civil Suite or similar software
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Knowledge of Adobe or similar software
