HIRING IMMEDIATELY: CNC OPERATOR IN HOLLYWOOD, FL
Accurate Personnel is hiring immediately for a CNC Operator to join our client in Hollywood, FL. This individual will be responsible for setting up machines by entering instructions and setting tool registers, offsets, compensation, and conditional switches. The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 2 years of experience in a machine tool occupation, including CNC machines, mills, lathes, and various machine shop tools. Pay, Schedule, and Location
Starting at $20 to $25/hour, paid weekly
Excellent benefits package: Medical, Dental, and Vision
Monday through Friday, 7 am to 3:30 pm
Located in Hollywood, FL
Duties and Responsibilities
Set up machines by entering instructions, setting tool registers, offsets, compensation, and conditional switches
Produce machined components and products on CNC equipment- mills; HAAS familiarity preferred
Maintain time standards, production schedule, and quality
Perform routine cleaning and maintenance
Apply safe manufacturing practices and use proper company-supplied protective equipment e.g. safety glasses and hearing protection
Requirements and Qualifications
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a machine tool occupation, including CNC machines, mills, lathes, and various machine shop tools
Ability to read blueprints and use precise measuring tools
Experience with axis HAAS, Leadwell, Robodrill (Or mills similar) is preferred
Ability to interpret geometric dimensions and tolerances (GD&T)
Minimum high school diploma/GED is required. College coursework or trade school training is preferred
Understand and apply basic machining principles and make adjustments as necessary
Must have a strong sense of safety and safe work practices
Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment, ability to learn new things quickly
Must have strong attention to detail, and a high level of accuracy in work products
Regularly required to stand, walk, bend, sit, reach, stoop, crouch, climb, balance, feel, and communicate
Must be able to frequently lift, pull, and push objects that weigh up to 30 pounds
