Accurate Personnel is hiring immediately for a Cold Heading Warehouse Machine Operator to join our client in Wood Dale, IL. This individual will be responsible for process inspection duties using micrometers and calipers, etc. The ideal candidate will have competencies in basic shop math, basic print reading, and a basic mechanical aptitude with a minimum of 1 year experience. Pay, Schedule, and Location
- Ranging from $17 - $29/hour, paid weekly
- 7 am - 3 pm, Monday - Friday
- Located in Wood Dale, IL
Duties and Responsibilities
- Work safely under functional safety guidelines such as PPE and equipment interaction.
- Adheres to quality processes including in-process inspection to ensure compliance with quality specifications
- Correctly interpret work orders
- Ability to lift up to 45lbs frequently
- Work in a team environment i.e., follow instructions and assist others as needed
- Performs other related duties as assigned or requested
Requirements and Qualifications
- GED or High School Diploma preferred but not required
- Proficient to read and write in English
- The ability to perform basic shop math, fractions, decimals
- The ability to use basic hand tools, wrenches, etc
- Use basic inspection tools such as micrometers, calipers, comparators
- Navigate the intranet to locate process documents - basic computer skills
- The ability to read and interpret work instructions and basic prints, and dimensions
