Pay, Schedule, and Location
- Starting at $40,000 to $50,000/yearly, paid weekly
- Excellent benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision
- 9-5 pm/ 10-6pm / 8-4pm & noon-8pm or 1-9pm.
- Located in Buffalo, NY
Duties and Responsibilities
- Brokerage clerks often handle a high volume of transactions and documentation, making strong organizational abilities vital
- Interact with clients and colleagues, explaining complex information, and resolving issues.
- Clerks need to analyze information, identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, and make sound decisions.
- Detect errors, determine causes, and make corrections as appropriate
- Additional related tasks as assigned
Requirements and Qualifications
- Previous experience in a brokerage or financial institution, even at an entry-level
- Basic understanding of how financial markets operate, including knowledge of stocks, bonds, commodities, and other investment products.
- Proficiency with essential office software, particularly Microsoft Word and Excel, is critical for daily tasks
- Attention to detail and accuracy is paramount to avoid errors in financial transactions and record-keeping
- High School Diploma or G.E.D. supplemented by advanced college coursework in data processing or related field.
