The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, able to work with minimal supervision, possess strong attention to detail, capable of following instructions closely in a fast-paced environment. Pay, Schedule, and Location
Starting at $50,000-$60,000/year
Monday through Friday, 1st shift available
Located in Wood Dale, IL
Duties and Responsibilities
Interact with various agent/vendors to set up quotes and rates for Domestic Shipments
Responsible for day-to-day execution of shipments
Prioritize, schedule and route shipments for transportation via Air and Ground network
Track and trace shipments to ensure timely delivery and capture costing
Manage new and existing customer accounts to ensure accuracy
Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction and operational proficiency
Promote additional services to contribute to overall profit
Review shipments and take immediate action to correct or solve issues that may occur
Suggest improvements in procedures to increase efficiency and reduce errors
Other assigned duties
Requirements and Qualifications
The ideal candidate must be outgoing with strong interpersonal skills
High level of resourcefulness, initiative, and exceptional time management
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Able to adapt to a high pressure environment
Must be proficient in Microsoft Office
