HIRING IMMEDIATELY: GENERAL LABOR IN ELK GROVE VILLAGE, IL
Accurate Personnel is hiring immediately for a General Labor role to join our client in Elk Grove Village, IL! This position is ideal for candidates with warehouse or logistics experience who are physically capable and safety-conscious.
Pay, Schedule, and Location:
- Pay Rate: $18/hour, paid weekly
- Schedule: 1st shift, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday
- Location: Elk Grove Village, IL
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Load, unload, and move materials, stock, and equipment using hands or machinery.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area, including sweeping and debris removal.
- Support skilled tradespeople and team members with assembly, packaging, or material handling tasks.
- Operate equipment such as pallet jacks or forklifts safely and efficiently.
- Sort and label goods for tracking, processing, or transport.
- Perform inventory checks and report discrepancies to supervisors.
- Follow all safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Physical stamina to lift heavy objects, stand for long periods, and perform repetitive tasks.
- Attention to detail when following instructions, labeling materials, and completing work orders.
- Knowledge of safety procedures and willingness to adhere to safety protocols.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and take direction from supervisors.
- Basic reading and documentation skills for completing assigned tasks.
