HIRING IMMEDIATELY: MACHINE OPERATOR / INJECTION MOLDING IN WINTER HAVEN, FL

Accurate Personnel is hiring immediately for a Machine Operator / Injection Molding to join our client in Winter Haven, FL. This individual will be responsible for operating on all auxiliary equipment such as a dryer, loader, grinder, water tower. Pay, Schedule, and Location

  • Starting at $15/hour, paid weekly
  • 3rd shift: 12 am - 8 am, Monday - Friday
  • Location in Winter Haven, FL

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Set up, start, and shut down injection molding machines and auxiliary equipment
  • Change molds, and adjust machine parameters (e.g., temperature, pressure, cycle time) to optimize the process
  • Monitor machine operation to ensure safety and quality standards are met
  • Diagnose and resolve issues related to the molding process, including machine malfunctions, part defects, and material inconsistencies
  • Perform routine and preventative maintenance on machines and molds to ensure smooth operation and minimize downtime
  • Collaborate with the maintenance or engineering departments on more complex issues
  • Conduct visual inspections and use measuring tools like calipers and micrometers to verify that molded parts meet quality specifications and customer requirements
  • Document process changes, quality checks, and production data
  • Identify and correct quality issues and report them to a supervisor
  • Prepare and handle raw materials (e.g., resins), ensuring proper drying and feeding into the machines
  • Understand the properties of different thermoplastic and thermoset materials and how they affect the molding process
  • Manage and handle excess or waste materials responsibly

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Strong mechanical and technical aptitude
  • Experience in a manufacturing or production environment, specifically with plastic injection molding
  • Knowledge of molding machine types and their operation (e.g., hydraulic vs. electric)
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and work orders
  • Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Good communication skills to interact with colleagues, supervisors, and other departments
  • Dependability and a strong sense of responsibility.
