This individual will be responsible for acting as first line supervisor for designated dispatch staff, as well as various related duties, such as taking emergency and non-emergency requests for assistance, dispatching appropriate units, and maintaining contact with responding units. Pay, Schedule, and Location
- Starting at $47,500/yearly
- Excellent benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision

- Located in Daytona, FL
Duties and Responsibilities
- Acts as first line supervisor for designated dispatch staff
- Monitors and validates the accuracy of entries into the TMW TruckMate system
- Takes emergency and non-emergency requests for assistance, dispatching appropriate units and maintaining contact with responding units
- Provides assistance to all dispatch related matters
- Will cover any open shift or person when necessary to cover for staff due to unexpected occurrences, etc
- Maintains on-going communication and coordination of activities between Dispatch and all carrier transportation
- Monitors each carrier's on-time deliveries, equipment availability, ensuring equipment is properly maintained
- Manage the Yard for yard planning to help improve yard efficiency
- May perform other support staff functions as requested by manager
Requirements and Qualifications
- Lifting up to 10lbs
- Sitting at a computer for long periods of time Climbing stairs, walking
- Must possess strong communication and planning skills
- Previous experience within the transportation industry is ideal
