This individual will be responsible for operating production machinery, inspecting and packing products, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment. Pay, Schedule, and Location
- Starting at $16.50 to $17.50/hour
- Excellent benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision
- 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shift schedules
- Located in Crystal Lake, IL
Duties and Responsibilities
- Operate production machinery in a safe and efficient manner
- Inspect and pack products according to company standards
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring that scrap materials are properly disposed of
- Complete required paperwork accurately and in a timely manner
- Multitask effectively to keep the machine running while performing inspections and packing
- Measure and interpret measurements with a standard ruler to 1/16 of an inch
Requirements and Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- Previous Machine Operator experience in production environment preferred
- Ability to perform repetitive motions and lifting/carrying up to 50 lbs. without tools or assistance
- Ability to manipulate (push, pull, buddy-lift/carry) up to 65 lbs
- Ability to effectively read, write, and verbally communicate in English
- Ability to stand/sit/walk for shift schedule without accommodations
- Basic math skills with the ability to add, subtract, divide and multiply to figure footage and linear footage
- Ability to multitask to safely and effectively keep the machine running while also inspecting and packing product
- Ability to measure and interpret measurements with a standard ruler to 1/16 of an inch
