Pay, Schedule, and Location
Starting at $25/hour, paid weekly
Excellent benefits package: Medical, Dental, and Vision
3rd shift: 10 pm to 6:30 am, some Saturday availability if required
Located in Bedford Park, IL
Duties and Responsibilities
Performing routine maintenance around the building such as fixing structural damage.
Work using the SQDC principle: Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost
Responsible for installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of all equipment in all value streams. Responsible for modifications to the equipment to adapt to product changes or to implement new ideas for continuous improvement to the manufacturing process.
Extensive working knowledge of PLC’s, robotics, and automation equipment.
Extensive knowledge of power distribution including switchgear, cutouts, & transformers.
As well as cable tray, buss duct, and conduit installations.
Knowledge of stamping machine circuits including clutches and feeders.
Computer skills pertaining to robotic and PLC software and networking.
Working with engineers and the maintenance supervisor for new installation or modernization projects with participation in activities such as planning, engineering design, field devices, hardware configuration, software design, development and testing, and new system start-up.
Repairing broken or leaking plumbing to avoid water damage and restore full use of water fixtures.
Fixing potential safety hazards to avoid injuries.
Participate in improvement events/projects that require mechanical support.
Various other duties as needed to support the business.
Requirements and Qualifications
Basic experience working within Facility Maintenance.
High school diploma.
Good communication skills both written and verbal.
Must be PC proficient ability to work with MS Office Suite.
Ability to communicate effectively in English both verbal and written form.
Ability to understand and follow written and oral instructions.
Ability to stand, stoop, kneel or sit for long periods of time.
Must demonstrate the ability to work effectively in a collaborative, team-based work environment.
Must be willing to perform other duties as requested, directed, or assigned.
Must be able to sit/stand in a relatively stationary position and able to move and stand.
