Pay, Schedule, and Location
- Ranging from $32 - $36/hour, paid weekly
- 3rd shift: 3pm - 6pm (flexible start time)
- Flexible scheduling options, with a minimum of five days staffed
- Career development opportunities, including the potential to earn HVAC and stationary engineer licenses
- Probationary period includes a potential raise after 60 days, with performance-based increases thereafter
- Located in Mokena, IL
Duties and Responsibilities
- Learn and maintain specialized equipment and systems specific to the facility
- Perform mechanical and electrical repairs and preventative maintenance
- Work with bakery machinery and systems including fabrication, pneumatics, hydraulics, gears, and sprockets
- Operate and maintain equipment such as scissor lifts, forklifts, welding tools, compressors, and programming tools
- Follow safety guidelines and contribute to a clean, organized workspace
Requirements and Qualifications
- Bilingual in Spanish and English is a plus, but not required
- Hands-on experience with mechanical and electrical systems is required; HVAC experience is a plus
- Willingness to learn new technologies and equipment
- Preferred background in bakery machinery, pneumatics, hydraulics, and fabrication
- Certifications or experience with forklifts, scissor lifts, welding, compressors, and programming tools are beneficial
- Must provide personal hand tools; a secure toolbox will be supplied
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with Operations, Maintenance, and Quality teams
