HIRING IMMEDIATELY: MATERIAL HANDLER IN ADDISON, IL
Accurate Personnel is hiring immediately for a Material Handler to join our team in Addison, Illinois. This individual will be responsible for handling of raw materials, operating a forklift, and working as a team with other material handlers, leads material control, and operators. The ideal candidate will possess good communication skills, is fluent in English, is proficient in Spanish, has experience with shipping and receiving, and forklift experience. Pay, Schedule, and Location
- Starting at $20/hour
- Excellent benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision
- 6:00am – 2:30pm
- Located in Addison, Illinois
Duties and Responsibilities
- Handling of all types of raw materials and dunnage. Includes coils of wire, flat stock steel, pallets, buckets, finished parts, tubs, and more!
- Operating a forklift, Roughly 80% of the time is spent on the forklift
- Working as a team with other material handlers, leads material control, and operators
Requirements and Qualifications
- Shipping & receiving experience
- Sit-down propane forklift experience
- Has used a basic scale for weighing product: gross, tare, net, pc. count functions
- Detail-oriented with their inputs into the shipping computer
- Can recognize and prioritize workflow
- Cooperates with other material handlers, leads, material control, and operators
- Willing to work OT to support production as needed. Both arrive 30 minutes early daily, and stay until 4 pm when needed
- Worked in an MFG environment is preferred. This is not a warehouse environment.
- The right candidate must be a good communicator, fluent in English, and proficient in Spanish would be a big plus
