HIRING IMMEDIATELY: MATERIAL HANDLER IN GENEVA, IL
Accurate Personnel is hiring immediately for a Material Handler to join our client in Geneva, IL. This individual will be responsible for maintaining adequate stocking levels of raw material and mixed material for production runs while keeping accurate inventory records. Pay, Schedule, and Location
Starting at $17/hour, paid weekly
Excellent benefits package: Medical, Dental, and Vision
Monday through Friday, 1st shift with weekends as needed
Located in Geneva, IL
Duties and Responsibilities
Provide correct raw material to all running machines on the production floor, by reading shop floor orders or verbal instruction
Load and unload material onto or from pallets, trays, racks, and shelves by hand, or by mechanical means as required
Maintain all raw material movement, issues, and returns in the EPR system
Mix color or additives into raw material as specified on the shop orders
Return grinding materials to the warehouse in a timely manner
Set up and clean grinders
Maintain safe operating practices and good working conditions in the dept
Keep supervisor informed of unusual problems
Requirements and Qualifications
Speak and read English, as well as basic computer skills
The Ability to operate a stand-up forklift and/or pallet jack is required
Basic math skills are beneficial
Training on 1st shift – for as long as it takes for training
Must be comfortable with the use of scales, grinders, color mixers, color pumps, hoppers, and dryers
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and one to three months of related work experience or training
Follow safety rules and keep the warehouse in a clean and orderly condition
