The Powder Coat Painter will be responsible for serving throughout the painting process, beginning with inspection, grinding, and priming, as well as painting and quality control. Powder Coat Painter Pay, Schedule, and Location
Starting at $21 to $23/hour, paid weekly

Located in Franklin Park, IL
Powder Coat Painter Duties and Responsibilities
Inspect parts for non-conformance and clean parts for painting
Applies primer and/or paint using an electrostatic wand system, ensuring high-quality coverage according to customer specifications
Assists with grinding and inspecting parts when needed
Perform thorough daily cleaning and preventative maintenance on paint equipment
Maintain technical and product knowledge for all equipment used within the assigned area of responsibility
Collaborate with other team members to develop and implement continuous improvement strategies and document best practices
Powder Coat Painter Requirements and Qualifications
Must be able to read basic drawings
In-depth knowledge of the properties of ferrous and non-ferrous metals, aluminum, and stainless
Thorough knowledge of the standard tools, equipment, materials, methods, and practices of a powder coat painting process and have knowledge of the occupational hazards and safety precautions of working in a shop fabrication environment
Maintain a clean and safe working environment at all times
Ensure proper protective equipment is worn at all times and tools or other equipment are properly used base on the task
