Accurate Personnel is hiring immediately for a Production Shop Apprentice to join our client in Cincinnati, OH. This individual will be responsible for building pallets, as well as banding, shrinking, wrapping, and preparing LTL parcels for shipment. Pay, Schedule, and Location
Starting at $17 to $17.50/hour, paid weekly
Excellent benefits package: Medical, Dental, and Vision
1st shift schedule, Monday through Friday
Located in Cincinnati, OH
Duties and Responsibilities
Review pick lists & ensure all the proper items have been pulled and properly packaged
Complete various tasks related to electrical and hydraulic systems
Build pallets, band/shrink wrap/prepare LTL parcels for shipment
Measure, weigh, and photographically document LTL parcels so that shipping costs can be accurately quoted
Perform a variety of job functions and work on your feet in a non-climate-controlled environment
Assist with occasional inventory cycle counts
Operate a forklift and / or PIT equipment
Requirements and Qualifications
Must be mechanically inclined, enthusiastic, and willing to learn
Ability to demonstrate a basic knowledge and understanding of hydraulic and electrical systems
MIG/Tack Welding experience/training is beneficial
Prior shipping/packing/picking experience with industrial equipment parts or heavy equipment
Ability to operate a forklift and willingness to become licensed in the operation of PIT equipment
Military experience is a plus
