HIRING IMMEDIATELY: QUALITY INSPECTOR IN GRAYSLAKE, IL
Accurate Personnel is hiring immediately for a Quality Inspector to join our client in Grayslake, IL. This individual will be responsible for the inspection processes across the manufacturing site, as well as the verification of all associated documentation tied up to the received parts. Pay, Schedule, and Location
Starting at $20 to $21/hour, paid weekly
Excellent benefits package: Medical, Dental, and Vision
Monday through Friday, 2:30 pm to 11:00 pm
Located in Grayslake, IL
Duties and Responsibilities
Use inspection, measurement, and test equipment to verify product quality
Certificates of compliance (CoC), material certificates, drawings, test reports, etc
Responsible for the inspection processes across the manufacturing site on the designated area
Take basic measurements to verify against packing slip and NAV item description
Obtain and review material certifications as required by inspection plans
Inspection and verification of all associated documentation tied up to the received parts
Verify material certifications to list of client specifications
Record data, scan documents as needed for manufacturing and quality
Perform additional inspection on "Enterprise Critical" items
Notify the Quality Engineer in a timely manner of any discrepancies on incoming inspection or quality concerns on products
First piece inspections and ongoing in process inspection of manufactured products in various cells
In process inspection of other products as scheduled/assigned
Perform incoming and in process inspection of weld metal
Perform and shop audits
Maintain a safe & clean working area and follow all regulations
Verify electrical test setup and/or final test results to ensure testing is being done correctly for each job
Follow communication and escalation process on quality, manufacturing, supplier, and other issues
Requirements and Qualifications
Read and understand process documents and industry standards
Ability to use and read a tape measure, caliper, micrometer and other quality control equipment for measurement and analysis
Basic computer skills Proficient in Microsoft Office: Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Must possess basic math skills
Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and cable & wire drawings
Team Player with good written and oral communication skills in English
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with strong attention to detail
Experience inspecting or testing electrical equipment and reading blueprints
Excellent communication skills and organization skills
