Accurate Personnel is hiring immediately for a Quality Technician to join our client in Waukegan, IL. This individual will be responsible for coordinating all quality checks in the production area in accordance with priority and machines. Pay, Schedule, and Location
Starting at $18 to $20/hour, paid weekly
Excellent benefits package: Medical, Dental, and Vision
Monday through Friday, 2 pm to 10 pm
Located in Waukegan, IL
Duties and Responsibilities
Coordinates all quality checks in the production area in accordance with priority and machines
Including the following: line checks, pallet checks, transfer truck checks, end of shift checks
Identify and record quality and food packaging safety problems
Keeping all key stakeholders informed
Monitor and track all corrective and preventative actions established to correct
Prepare paper samples for any off-shift deliveries
Assist with nightly/weekly plant shutdowns
Conduct weekly quality audits
Perform any additional duties as assigned by Quality Manager or Shift Supervisor
Requirements and Qualifications
Must have some quality assurance experience and pass a proficiency test
Fluent in English, Spanish a plus
Basic computer skills
Must be a self-starter, able to work independently with little supervision
Must be able to use basic measurement tools: tape measurer, scales, and caliper
Proven attention to detail
Critical thinker, and solution provider
