This individual will be responsible for material purchasing, inventory support, and vendor communication in the production department. R&D Purchasing Clerk (Temporary) Pay, Schedule, and Location
Starting at $20 to $25/hour, with bonus available
Excellent benefits package: Medical, Dental, and Vision
Monday through Friday, 8 am to 4:30 pm
Located in North Barrington, IL
R&D Purchasing Clerk (Temporary) Pay, Schedule, and Location
Purchase R&D materials as necessary and as directed by the R&D Engineering Staff
Purchases non-inventory supplies as needed
Initiates purchase orders and amendments for R&D materials and services
Maintains accurate vendor data with regards to quotes, lead times and vendor performance
Follows up with vendors to address issues or confirm deliveries
Communicates regularly with R&D Engineering Staff to identify material delays or discrepancies
Utilizes ERP system to record purchases and materials data
Complete all documentation required for international shipments
Communicate with customs to provide any additional details requested
Support Illinois Development with domestic shipments and packing lists from Epicor
Notify Accounting or Engineering Staff of open purchase order status.
Support creation of purchase orders as needed
Complete transactions in ERP system as required
R&D Purchasing Clerk (Temporary) Pay, Schedule, and Location
High school diploma or equivalent
1-2 years of experience in logistics or purchasing role
Experience with ERP order entry systems and Epicor, preferred
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
Experience managing multiple priorities in a fast paced envoronment
