HIRING IMMEDIATELY: SAFETY AND LOSS CONTROL MANAGER IN MINOOKA, IL
Accurate Personnel is hiring immediately for a Safety and Loss Control Manager to join our team in MInooka, IL. This individual will be responsible for taking the lead on New Hire Safety-related training, as well as providing refresher and/or annual training to existing employees as required. Must remain current on HACCP, OSHA, GMP, SSOP, and other related regulations and constantly strive to improve training programs using industry best practices. Pay, Schedule, and Location
  • Starting at $52,000 to $55,000/yearly
  • Excellent benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision
  • Multiple schedules available
  • Located in Minooka, IL
Duties and Responsibilities
  • Facilitate and coordinate with ongoing employee training including new hire orientation, completion of new hire safety paperwork, facility tours
  • Provide Powered Material Handling Operators with proper training and certification
  • Provide Proper SSOP training and certification where required
  • Liaise with employees, managers, HR team, regional EH&S manager and corporate HR to ensure training program is current
  • Liaise with regulators, managers and Director to ensure HACCP program Is current and compliant to applicable legislation
  • Provide managers with ongoing feedback on HACCP compliance, employee training goals and objectives
  • Determines work procedures, prepares work schedules, and expedites work flow
  • Trains employees to spot theft and stop theft
  • Issues written and oral instructions to subordinates
  • Assigns duties and examines work for exactness prior to deadlines
Requirements and Qualifications
  • 2 to 5 years’ experience in a warehouse environment with a working knowledge of HACCP, GMP, SSOP, OSHA, FDA
  • Knowledge of LP programs
  • Knowledge of Contractual Security duties
  • Powered Material Handling Equipment/Train the Trainer training.
  • Must have good organizational/document control abilities
  • Proficiency with Windows based computer applications
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills combined with the ability to perform multiple tasks, schedule priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Self-motivated and dedicated to excelling in the role.
  • Strong sense of teamwork.
