HIRING IMMEDIATELY: SENIOR LOGISTICS MANAGER
We’re a fast-growing logistics powerhouse in the food distribution industry, and we’re looking for a Senior Logistics Manager to take the reins of our multi-site transportation and distribution operations. This is a high-visibility, high-impact role for a leader who thrives in fast-paced environments, knows how to manage drivers and dispatch teams, and can turn operational complexity into streamlined execution.
Based out of either Stockton, CA or Lacey, WA, you’ll oversee logistics operations across multiple distribution centers, traveling extensively to ensure performance, compliance, and service excellence. Pay, Schedule, Location
- $76,000/year (bonus opportunity)

Duties and Responsibilities
- Lead logistics operations across multiple food distribution centers, ensuring seamless execution and cost-effective service
- Manage and mentor dispatchers, drivers, and logistics staff across multiple locations
- Develop and implement strategic processes to improve service delivery and operational efficiency
- Drive transportation performance using KPIs, route optimization tools, and real-time tracking systems
- Negotiate with carriers and vendors to maintain service quality and protect margin integrity
- Collaborate cross-functionally to align logistics with broader business goals
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, DOT, and company safety standards
- Support new initiatives, special projects, and expansion efforts across the network
- Travel extensively (50–75%) to oversee operations, support teams, and drive performance on the ground
Requirements and Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of progressive logistics leadership experience, preferably in food distribution
- Proven success managing drivers, dispatch teams, and transportation operations
- Strong understanding of transportation systems including Truckmate, PC Miler, Qualcomm GPS, Road Net TMS, Load Boards, and Freight Calculator
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and logistics planning tools
- Strategic mindset with the ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive measurable results
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills
- BA preferred or equivalent experience in logistics, supply chain, or operations
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varied warehouse conditions
- Comfortable standing, sitting, and navigating distribution centers for extended periods
- Must be able to travel frequently and adapt to changing environments
