HIRING IMMEDIATELY: LOGISTICS SPECIALIST IN IRVING, TX
Accurate Personnel is hiring immediately for a Logistics Specialist to join our team in Irving, TX. This individual will be responsible for acting as first line supervisor for designated dispatch staff, monitoring and validating the accuracy of entries into the TMW TruckMate system, including filing and maintaining paperwork. Pay, Schedule, and Location
- Starting at $47,000/yearly

Duties and Responsibilities
- Acts as first line supervisor for designated dispatch staff
- Monitors and validates the accuracy of entries into the TMW TruckMate system, including filing and maintaining paperwork
- Takes emergency and non-emergency requests for assistance, dispatching appropriate units and maintaining contact with responding units
- Provides assistance to all dispatch related matters
- Will step up to the plate when necessary to cover for staff due to unexpected occurrences, etc
- Maintains on-going communication and coordination of activities between Dispatch and all carrier transportation
- Monitors each carrier’s on-time deliveries, equipment availability, ensuring equipment is properly maintained
- May perform other support staff functions as requested by the manager
Requirements and Qualifications
- High School Diploma or G.E.D. supplemented by advanced college coursework in data processing or related fields
- Two to four years of directly related experience
- A combination of education and experience may substitute if there is demonstrated knowledge ability and skills to perform the work
- Understanding of DOT rules and regulations, vehicle weight capacity and load spec’s, etc
- Ability to work graveyard hours, weekends, holidays, and OT- flexibility of schedule is a must
- Demonstrated leadership abilities, with experience in coaching, counseling and conflict resolution
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills
- Ability to manage stress in self and others within a fast-paced environment, adapting readily to change
