This individual will be responsible for supporting all day-to-day warehouse activities to ensure a smooth and efficient operational flow. Pay, Schedule, and Location
- Starting at $18/hour, paid weekly
- 1st shift: 8am - 5pm, overtime available
- Located in Conyers, GA
Duties and Responsibilities
- Organize, stock, and maintain inventory in designated warehouse spaces
- Accurately pick, pack, label, and stage all customer orders
- Load and unload containers and delivery trucks as directed
- Safely operate material handling equipment including pallet jacks and forklifts (if certified)
- Follow all SOPs and safety procedures in line with company and industry standards
- Use RF scanning equipment to track and process warehouse items
- Assist with onboarding and training of new or temporary staff as requested
- Complete all assigned paperwork and documentation accurately and on time
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment, following 5S principles
- Report any safety hazards or maintenance concerns to management immediately
- Ensure inventory is accessible, organized, and clearly labeled
- Support weekend or overtime shifts as pre-assigned by management
- Perform additional tasks and duties as assigned by warehouse leadership
- Meet productivity targets for order picking, packing, and shipping
- Maintain warehouse cleanliness and follow all safety and operational guidelines
- Successfully pass equipment safety inspections and adhere to handling procedures
- Demonstrate ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Comply with company KPIs related to service quality, efficiency, and accuracy
Requirements and Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Forklift Certification preferred
- Minimum of 6 months experience in a warehouse or logistics environment preferred
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems and RF scanners
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) is a plus
- Proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Ability to lift or move packages up to 50 lbs.
- Comfortable standing, walking, kneeling, reaching, stooping, and bending for extended periods
- Must be a team player with a positive attitude and reliability
- Frequent lifting, standing, and moving throughout the shift
- Exposure to varying temperatures and noise levels
- Use of industrial equipment and tools following all safety guidelines
